The 15th annual meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG-15) is scheduled to be held on Oct. 25th-31st, 2020 in Wuhan City, China. As in the first announcement released on April 8th when Wuhan City lifted its lockdown, we are happy to share with you the approaching normal situation in Wuhan with most, if not all, of social activities resumed, and extend our warm welcome to all friends to join us for the event.

Following ICG's permanent theme of "OMICS for ALL", the annual theme of ICG-15 is "Omics and Global Health", covering the vast fields of life sciences, especially omics, from global collaboration and education, ethics, the state-of-the-arts and breakthroughs in technology development, to big data and biobanking, global sustainable development, and etc.

Since its first annual meeting, ICG has provided a platform for free discussions related to omics. More than 1,000 prestigious scientists, Nobel Prize winners, academicians from various countries and entrepreneurs have attended the conferences as speakers, and more than 13,000 participants have witnessed the development of life sciences and technologies together with ICG in the past 15 years.

This year, as ICG makes its debut in Wuhan, we will utilize this opportunity to share experience and lessons for the prevention and control of future epidemics. Please come and join us in the late autumn of Wuhan.
